Our ancestors did not fight, they worked on the home front. Someone has to work in factories, someone has to teach future specialists in this or that sphere. But their labor was also marked by awards, which are shown here on the photo.
On March 20 and 21, the people of Drakonberg celebrate one of the most ancient holidays - Nowruz! This holiday has no direct relation to the history of our clan and state, but it has been celebrated for thousands of years on the land where Drakonberg is now located. And if we take into account our ancient epic (see "History of the Drakonberg clan"), it is not surprising that Nowruz is the favorite holiday of our citizens...
But these days the world celebrates not only Nowruz, but also some other interesting and important holidays. And this year this fact was taken into account...
Of course, we could not install our previous big Christmas tree, because the new resident of our state does not know how to properly perceive such objects. Therefore, the Christmas tree is small and stands very high. But we must note that this particular small Christmas tree has reached us from the depths of decades, though not centuries, of course...

And today we will remind you about our holiday, how it appeared, what its meaning is and what has changed in the life of the country with its appearance.

Today Drakonberg celebrates a holiday that is very rarely celebrated in real states (due to its low significance), but even more rarely in micronations (due to the absence of the domain as an occasion). We have both an occasion and significance, so in our country the National Domain Day is equal in significance to the State Founding Day.
However, not everything that was originally conceived was realized as planned. That and much more is what we will cover in this article.
Why today? Because today millions of people all over the world celebrate the birthday of their Teacher - just like that, with a capital "T". And Drakonberg is the first (and so far, unfortunately, the only) state that has declared this day an official holiday.
Today is a significant day in the life of Drakonberg: our state turned 10 years old. This is a very important achievement for a micronation, because most similar projects die much earlier.
But we exist and hopefully we will exist for many more years, decades and even centuries to come. Why not? Because our state has all three main components: territory, population, and idea.

However, unfortunately, after the Second World War there were still many local wars, the total number of victims of which is estimated in many millions. People don't remember history and don't draw conclusions from it...
Why do we celebrate it with such joy?
There are less than 100 hours left before the New Year. On the eve of one of the most beloved national holidays the Head of Drakonberg addressed New Year's greetings and holiday wishes to the people of his country and citizens of other micronations.
By tradition, we publish on our news website the full text of the New Year's Message of the Chairman of Family Council, which also reflects some of the achievements in the development of the state in the outgoing year, as well as plans for the coming year.
