Happy New Year!

There are less than 100 hours left before the New Year. On the eve of one of the most beloved national holidays the Head of Drakonberg addressed New Year's greetings and holiday wishes to the people of his country and citizens of other micronations.

By tradition, we publish on our news website the full text of the New Year's Message of the Chairman of Family Council, which also reflects some of the achievements in the development of the state in the outgoing year, as well as plans for the coming year.

The New Year's Message from the Head of Drakonberg

Dear fellow citizens, dear residents of other micronations!

First of all, of course, I congratulate all of you on this wonderful holiday and wish you health, prosperity, peace and joy!

Despite everything going on in the real world, the past year was generally successful for Drakonberg. We managed to significantly increase the gold and foreign currency reserve, as well as the size of the Reserve Fund. In addition, some work was done to improve the state's territory and the health of our citizens.

As for foreign policy activity, unfortunately the expiring year did not bring any significant successes in this sphere. We are witnessing the decline and even actual extinction of micronations on the territory of the former Soviet Union, which saddens us greatly. For technical and social reasons, expanding contacts with micronations of other regions is difficult, so this area is still a weak point of our state.

At the same time, with the help of the Drakonberg diaspora, we were able to advance our family history. Moreover, there is good reason to believe that the family legend that gave rise to the existence of our state may very well be true. We hope that in the coming year these researches will be successfully continued.

Well, contrary to the gloomy predictions of many political scientists and economists, we are optimistic about the future and expect to continue to work in the coming year to improve the comfort of our citizens, and we plan to expand the economic development base of Drakonberg. We also hope to find time to further develop our National Museum website.

Once again, I wish you all a Happy New Year! May all be well in your lives!
